I’ve cooked for the Prince and Princess of Wales – exciting but nerve wracking.

I always grab a cuppa to get me started.

I am a dedicated tea drinker.
On a typical day, what are your top 3 (work related!) priorities?
Check emails and tender correspondence – to make sure I am up to date with everything. I don’t like surprises!
Produce all the documents we might need for our tenders.
Load tenders to In-tend – this is where we alert companies that we are running tenders.
What did you get up to this morning?
Many, many emails – I am sure that we are all used to that!
What do you do in your lunch break?
Get out in fresh air. I like to go for a walk and clear my head. It helps me think more clearly in the afternoon.

Set tenders to ‘live’.
Describe a ‘win’ moment you’ve had in the last month.
Set three tenders to ‘live’ in two days. It is great when we have this much work in the pipeline as we feel we must be doing a good job for our clients.
Has anything gone wrong recently? What happened?!
I double booked a training course with a day off during half term. I ended up training from the bedroom.
Are you a morning ‘up with the lark’ person or a night owl?
This is determined by my pre-schooler and what sort of night we have had. I do like to get into the office early and get a head start on the day. I also am able to work from home and that flexibility is great.
How do you spend your evenings/weekends?
Family time – it is so important to be able to switch off from work and focus on the family.
What do you most like about working for Minerva?
The people and having the flexibility to work from home and from the office. It is great to be part of a team but also have the space to focus totally on the job.

Buy property! Travel more!
Your chosen specialist subject if you were on Mastermind?
Harry Potter – I am a complete Potter nerd and love the books and the films.
