I’m a world record holder.
2. What’s your job title?
Procurement Account Manager (Consultant)

I do whatever Lorraine tells me to do!
4. What’s the first thing you do when you get in the office or start work at your desk?
I make sure I check In-Tend [tenders portal] for new messages.
5. Tea or coffee?
Coffee
6. On a typical day, what are your top 3 (work related!) priorities?
- In-Tend messages
- emails
- To do list
7. What did you get up to this morning?
Sent award correspondence for a tender, more scoring on the SQ stage of a tender and answered some emails.
8. What do you do in your lunch break?
I walk the dog and clear my head.
9. What happened this afternoon?
Attended a site visit for a cleaning tender.
10. Describe a ‘win’ moment you’ve had in the last month.
Finally got to the end of a particularly big tender and closed it out.
11. Has anything gone wrong recently? What happened?!
Bidders dropping out of tenders at the last minute. So annoying.
12. Are you a morning ‘up with the lark’ person or a night owl?
Both – I don’t tend to sleep too much
13. How do you spend your evenings/weekends?
I spend time with my family and dog, and do jobs at home and at my daughters’ houses.
14. What do you most like about working for Minerva?
Working with some really nice people: in the company, customers and suppliers.
15. What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
University is not necessary, follow what interests you, not the crowd.
16. Your chosen specialist subject if you were on Mastermind would be what?
Mind reading my family! But if I have to pick a subject it would be the Blues Brothers.
