Buying quality products is something of a minefield. It’s the cause of many people’s headaches and, in Lucy’s case here at Minerva HQ…. her experiences have been a pain in the backside!
Lucy woke one morning, eager to get to work. To her battle station she went (well, okay, the mirror!) wanting to get ready for the day. Armed with her straightener and hairbrush she settled down, all seemed well… nothing can go wrong.
That is until the stool that she was quite happily sitting on decided it would make its final stand.
Wondering what just happened, she laughed at herself as she picked herself off the floor, revealing the stool looked rather beyond repair.
It’s at this moment I’d like to note that no Lucys were harmed in the making of this blog.
Lucy shared her story with us as she arrived at the office and after we finished laughing, we commented that maybe she should have bought a better quality product.
So, Lucy, lesson learned!
So the moral of the story is: it may not hurt to spend a little more for a guaranteed quality product or they may end up like Lucy’s stool ex-stool.
Price isn’t everything; service and quality must be taken into equal consideration. In short: value for money! Buy too cheap and you’ll find yourself racking up quite a debt paying for replacements. The saying is true: if an offer seems too good to be true, it more than likely is.
In case you don't believe us, we have photographic evidence!
