Gillotts School, located in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, is a reputable educational institution serving the local community. The school is committed to providing students with a high-quality learning environment and needed to update its ICT managed services to meet modern educational demands.

The Background

Gillotts School recognised the need to upgrade its ICT infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning experiences. To address these issues, the school initiated a procurement project for ICT infrastructure themselves with their ICT Managed Services tender being supported by Minerva Procurement Consultancy Services.

A full restricted tender process was conducted as per Public Contract Regulations (PCR2015) which included a Selection Questionnaire (SQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage.


Gillotts School launched a competitive tender process, inviting prospective ICT managed service providers to submit their proposals. Several vendors participated in the bidding process, each aiming to meet the school’s ICT needs.

After a rigorous evaluation of the proposals and rigorous selection criteria, the school selected a trusted partner to provide ICT Managed Services. The chosen provider demonstrated not only technical excellence but also a commitment to aligning their services with the school’s educational goals.
