Webinar Recording: Practical Procurement Webinar: Planning your Procurement

One of the questions we’re often asked is: how long does a procurement project take? The answer is “it depends”!  There are a multitude of factors to consider, and an above threshold tender which needs to be compliant with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (which will be The Procurement Act 2023 from 24 February 2025) can take anything between 6 and 12 months. Even a ‘below threshold’ tender will need 6 to 9 months.

With this in mind, it is never too early to start planning for your procurement projects for the next academic year, as it is important to ensure that you have plenty of time to remain compliant with all legislation and DfE requirements, and of course to avoid any last minute panics!

Join us for this webinar where Minerva’s Director, Lorraine Ashover talks you through the key considerations when looking ahead to your next year’s procurement including:

  • Identifying your key contracts and renewal dates
  • Minimum timeframes for above and below threshold projects
  • What to do if you’ve run out of time
  • Top tips to keep on top of your contract renewals

If you can’t make the live session, don’t worry – registering will ensure you get a recording of the webinar.
